Chitra Lane Child Sponsorship Scheme
Over 85% of the children and young adults that benefit from our programs are from low-income families. These families have very little to get by within their daily lives and can hardly meet the cost of health care and special education that is essential for their special child. The Chitra Lane Organization’s sponsorship program helps make a significant difference in the lives of these families.
Your love and concern will make a valuable difference in the lives of the children at Chitra Lane. Contribute towards our Chitra Lane Child Sponsorship Scheme and help us provide a holistic development program to a special child.
Once a child is enrolled into the Sponsorship Scheme and a sponsor is found, the child receives support based on the needs that are identified by one of the in-house senior consultants who are in charge of monitoring the child’s progress. Following is a list of facilities and services provided under the Chitra Lane Child Sponsorship Scheme.
The level of assistance provided to each child varies on the child’s unique requirements and the level of support provided by the sponsor.

Depending on the Consultant’s assessment or the sponsor’s level of support the following benefits can be added:
We welcome individual or group sponsorships. Once you join the Chitra Lane Child Sponsorship Scheme detailed progress reports of the child/children that you are sponsoring will be sent to you regularly along with photos and artworks done by the Child.
You are in no way bound to continue with the sponsorship if you do not wish to. We do not impose any sort of minimum time duration for sponsorship. However, in the best interest of the child, we kindly request that you give us at least a month’s notice prior to discontinuation.
